Many great drinks can be made with aloe vera for treating acid reflux. This is fortunate. The taste of aloe vera isn’t bad, but the taste isn’t for everyone. Aloe vera can be mixed with other foods that treat heartburn. Their combination makes for a variety of delicious, healthy drinks.

Aloe vera prevents acid reflux and treats heartburn after reflux has occurred. It’s also great for those who’re trying to maintain an alkaline diet.

Make sure you’re using an aloe vera form designated for internal use.




Aloe Vera and Lime Drink Recipe

TOTAL TIME: 5 MINUTES
SERVES: 1

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. If you’re already experiencing heartburn, leave out the mint. Mint is great for settling the stomach but it can make acid reflux worse.
  2. Add all ingredients together in a shaker and mix well.
  3. Strain while pouring over ice.
  4. Garnish with lime slices and additional mint if desired.
  5. Enjoy and feel better!
